Chloe Sheldon

is based in Chicago and available worldwide. She began working professionally as a photographer while earning her BFA at UIC in 2009. In 2017, she joined forces with her husband and launched a second photography business, Sheldon Collective, focused on weddings and engagements. Today, she makes a living shooting editorial and commercial photography for individuals, businesses, and brands. When she’s not holding a camera, you can find her rock climbing, enjoying spicy Thai food, or doting on her indoor succulent garden.

Professional bios are important, but what truly matters during our time together is creating a genuine connection. Let me take this opportunity to share a glimpse into who I am.

I’m a fun-loving, deep-thinking, fast-moving kind of person. There’s nothing better to me than enjoying a delicious meal with people I love, throwing myself into activities that challenge me, or cozying up in my sunroom with a glass of red wine and a book. I’m open, friendly, and love getting to know new people.

Some of my favorite things:

Fleetwood Mac on vinyl | Earl Grey tea | long drives with a great playlist | warm homemade bread | chasing seagulls by the ocean | heart talks with my sisters |champagne anytime | foggy mountain mornings | facing my fears | and melty chocolate chip cookies

Currently,

growing alongside my husband, Josh, is my daily adventure. We got married on the most beautiful September day in 2016 and now live in a sunny apartment in Logan Square, Chicago. We love biking to the lake in the summer, hosting bonfires in our backyard, road trips, rock climbing, and slow mornings sipping coffee and listening to records.

“There’s nothing I love more than to use how I’m uniquely created to make someone else shine a little brighter. It brings an extra dose of joy to my photoshoots, allows me to weave camaraderie and kindness into each client relationship, and makes the experience in front of my camera more comfortable, empowering, and fun.”
